Per the NFA Contract, Article 9, TMCC is announcing to all eligible Academic and Administrative faculty that a need exists for a Machining Curriculum Developer for the Swiss Lathe.

Machining Curriculum Developer that complements/supports the Swiss Lathe competencies.
Scope of Work
The assignment will begin May 8, 2023. Estimated hours of work: 55. This is an assignment requiring additional work days/hours outside of regular contract days. This assignment is not automatically renewed annually.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Create new curriculum for the Swiss Lathe precision manufacturing machine. New course material (theory and lab activities) will compliment/align with industry standards.
Qualifications
A TMCC instructor of Machining or Architecture.
Compensation
Lump sum stipend of $2,500.
Reports to
Kreg Mebust, Interim Dean Technical Sciences.

Interested faculty will submit a letter of interest describing special qualifications and background information no later than 5 p.m. on May 4, 2023.
The letter should be addressed to Kreg Mebust, Interim Dean Technical Sciences. NOTE: Administrative faculty must include a documented plan for separation of the additional assignment work from regular work time.

The Interim Dean Technical Sciences will notify applicants of the hiring decision on or before May 5, 2023.
