Applied Technologies

If you are interested in a career that requires you to work with your hands, think on your feet, problem-solve, troubleshoot, and craft creative, innovative and lasting solutions, TMCC's Applied Technologies Department offers you the in-depth training you will need to do exactly that. Whether your calling is to become an architect, an automotive or diesel mechanic, to repair HVAC/R units, to machine or weld, these programs offer you real-time, hands-on training that will prepare you for a career in these high-demand and high-wage industries.

In addition to in-house technical training that results in a certificate or degree, TMCC's Applied Technologies department also offers apprenticeship opportunities so you can earn while you learn, thanks to partnerships with Nevada's Apprenticeship Project. Students who select this pathway can earn a certificate or degree while working toward earning a journeyman's card.

Whether you are looking for professional development in your current career by taking a single class, a one-semester certification or even a two-year degree, Applied Technologies offers you relevant, efficient and highly effective training that will enable you to get the job done.
