Getting Started Access Web Classes

Online Class Formats

Web-based classes are offered entirely online, though sometimes you'll be asked to take exams on the Dandini Campus or at one of our other educational sites. Please refer to the class syllabus for information concerning on-campus proctored exams for individual courses.

Note: If you are an out-of-state student taking an online class, and the class requires a proctored exam, you will be responsible for talking with the faculty member and arranging a proctored agreement with another educational institution or public library.

Hybrid classes consist of both in-class meetings and web-based lessons. Class meetings are mandatory and are held half of the time of a traditional class.

With a hybrid class, students meet on campus half the time, and complete the other portion online.

A majority of faculty use the Canvas learning management system to supplement their traditional face-to-face classes by posting syllabi, handouts and other important information online.
