Per the NFA Contract, Article 9, TMCC is announcing to all eligible Academic and Administrative faculty that a need exists for a Curriculum Developer for the Advanced Cyber Physical Manufacturing Bachelor Program

Description

A comprehensive overview of the BAS Cyber-Physical Manufacturing – semesters 5-8, with an emphasis on the current state of lab activities for semester 8 and the creation of a “teach-out” plan for current students in the BAS program.

Scope of Work

Date Range: start June 5, 2023 ending Aug. 11, 2023. Estimated hours of work: 40. This is an additional assignment requiring additional work days/hours outside of regular contract days, including times as needed during spring and summer to fulfill duties. This assignment is not automatically renewed annually.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

Responsibilities: A comprehensive overview of the BAS Cyber-Physical Manufacturing – semesters 5-8, with an emphasis on the current state of lab activities for semester 8 and the creation of a “teach-out” plan for current students in the BAS program.

Deliverables: Provide a written report detailing the overview for semesters 5-8, the current state of all lab activities for semesters 5-8, current enrollment numbers (student names) for semesters 5-8 and a detailed overview of the 8th semester lab activities explaining what can be used moving forward and what requires new or re-written lab activities.

Qualifications

A full time or part-time TMCC instructor of Advanced Manufacturing or approved equivalent.

Compensation

Not to exceed $2,500

Reports To

Dean of Technical Sciences.

Application Process

Interested faculty will submit a letter of interest describing special qualifications and background information no later than 5 p.m. on June 2, 2023.

The letter should be addressed to Kreg Mebust, Interim Dean Technical Sciences. Note: administrative faculty must include a documented plan for separation of the additional assignment work from regular work time.

Selection Process

The Dean of Technical Sciences will notify applicants of the hiring decision on or before June 5, 2023.
