Business AA FastTrack Support and Outreach Specialist

Per the NFA Contract, Article 9, TMCC is announcing to all eligible Academic and Administrative faculty that a need exists for a/an Business AA Fast-Track Support and Outreach Specialist.

Description

A new 5-week model, fully online, accelerated Associate of Arts in Business program has been developed and is launching Fall 2023. Support is needed during the 2023-24 academic year to assist in recruitment efforts and cohort support.

Scope of Work

The assignment will begin July 1, 2023 and will end June 30, 2024; approximately 210 work hours/year. This additional assignment is not automatically renewed annually.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

The Business FastTrack AA Support & Outreach Specialist will be responsible for community outreach and engagement, assist with recruiting interested students to the FastTrack program, reviewing transcripts and/or course history to determine program eligibility, attend various student meetings and orientations to share about the program.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following criteria:

  • Current TMCC faculty (teaching or administrative).
  • One-year, full time teaching experience for the Business Department or other disciplines closely related to the business degrees.

Compensation

3 credits of reassigned time per semester or monetary equivalent. (Total 6 per year).

Dean of Business and Social Sciences

Note: Administrative faculty must include a documented plan for separation of the additional assignment work from regular work time.

The Dean of Business and Social Sciences will notify applicants of the hiring decision on or before May 19, 2023.
