Per the NFA Contract, Article 9, TMCC is announcing to all eligible Academic and Administrative faculty that a need exists for an Advanced Manufacturing Curriculum Developer for the Basics of Operations and Maintenance (MPT 101) Course.

Basic Operations and Maintenance Curricular Development – MPT 101

Scope of Work

Date Range: start June 5, 2023 ending Aug. 11, 2023. Estimated hours of work: 40. This is an additional assignment requiring additional work days/hours outside of regular contract days, including times as needed during spring and summer to fulfill duties. This assignment is not automatically renewed annually.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

Responsibilities: Prepare the curriculum for weekly assignments as needed for a 5-week or 15-week course. Tasks include aligning curriculum to the approved CRC submission; including alignment with the Learning Measures and Outcomes, and associated quizzes / exams.

Deliverable: A complete 3 credit course supported by written curriculum, lab activities, testing material, and Canvas instructional modules.

Qualifications

A full time or part-time TMCC instructor of Advanced Manufacturing

Compensation

lump sum stipend of $2,550

Reports To

Dean of Technical Sciences.

Application Process

Interested faculty will submit a letter of interest describing special qualifications and background information no later than 5 p.m. on June 2, 2023.

The letter should be addressed to Kreg Mebust, Interim Dean of Technical Sciences. Note: administrative faculty must include a documented plan for separation of the additional assignment work from regular work time.

Selection Process

The Interim Dean of Technical Sciences will notify applicants of the hiring decision on or before June 5, 2023.
