Public Records Request

TMCC is committed to providing public records in compliance with the Nevada Open Records Act, Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 239. The Associate Vice President of Research, Marketing and Web Services is the designated Public Records Officer at TMCC responsible for accepting, reviewing and responding to all requests to inspect or provide copies of public books or public records. A request should be for an identifiable record and will be handled as expeditiously as possible. However, some public records may not be disclosed under various circumstances, or may be disclosed at the discretion of TMCC.

How to Request Public Records

All requests to inspect and/or obtain copies of public records are submitted to the TMCC Associate Vice President of Research, Marketing and Web Services via the form below. Within five (5) business days of receiving a public records request, the Public Records Officer will respond in accordance with NRS Chapter 239.

Requests must be for identifiable records that are reasonably recovered. Be specific and precise. Include dates, names, locations, type of records requested, keywords and any other pertinent information to identify the specific record requested that will help us locate the records for you as quickly as possible. Failure to provide sufficient information may cause delay.

Fee Schedule

  • Photocopies ($0.00 for the first 20 pages, then $0.10 per page)
  • Electronic media - thumb drive ($10.00)
  • Electronic Delivery (when file size permits. Cost may be incurred if a document(s) have to be scanned.)

Postage (if applicable): All shipping will be USPS Parcel Post unless otherwise requested. Costs will be reimbursed by the requester.
