Radiologic Technology BAS Program

Chest X-ray

TMCC's Radiologic Technology Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Program will provide graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to be a successful imaging leader and an active member of the healthcare team.

The program recognizes the educational and professional experiences that registered imaging professionals possess and builds upon an already solid foundation. The BAS can be completed in 12 months and courses are offered in 8-week blocks.

Minimum BAS Program Requirements

All students applying for the Radiologic Technology BAS Program must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • An active ARRT or equivalent registry when coursework begins.
  • Graduated with an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from a regionally accredited program.

Steps to Apply

  1. Apply to the College
To apply to the radiologic technology program, you must be at least 18 years old and a current TMCC student. See TMCC's Steps to Enroll to learn more about becoming a student.

You must submit your official transcripts from any higher education institution you've attended. After you've submitted your official transcripts, you must have them evaluated by the TMCC Admissions and Records Office using the Transfer Credit Evaluation Request.

    • An official transcript includes the Registrar’s signature, the College seal, and the date it was issued. An official transcript is delivered in a sealed envelope which should not be opened by anyone except the addressee. It is a legal document. There is usually a fee for each official transcript ordered.

    • An unofficial transcript is the student’s academic record without signature, seal, date or sealed envelope. There is usually no fee. A student may obtain an unofficial transcript by following the same procedure as for requesting an official transcript.

    • Please note that students who require a Credit Evaluation for Transfer Students need to submit this well in advance of the application deadline, as this process may take up to 6 weeks. If this credit evaluation for transfer courses is not complete at the application deadline, it will not be accepted.

It is highly recommended that prospective Radiologic Technology students meet with a TMCC Academic Advisor.

  2. Submit Program Application
Please complete the Radiologic Technology BAS Program Application. You must upload an active ARRT or equivalent registry and unofficial transcripts showing an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from a regionally accredited program.
