What do you want to do when you become a Nevada licensed massage therapist (LMT)? Own your own business? Work for spas, resorts or healthcare facilities? Are you eligible for financial aid? Choose from multiple pathways to find the one that best suits your needs.

Massage Therapy Certificate of Achievement

Gain all the skills you need to become a skilled LMT, plus take three courses of general education. The advantages of this program are:

  • It can be completed in as little as three semesters and meets all state requirements to prepare you for the national exam and licensure.
  • It is eligible for financial aid.
  • You’ll take three courses of general education to broaden your education.
  • It’s stackable: if you want to earn your degree in the future, these classes will count toward your associate of applied science degree.

AAS Degree, Massage Therapy Entrepreneurship

Pair your comprehensive massage instruction with business entrepreneurship classes to excel as a successful self-employed practitioner. This degree’s advantages are:

  • It can be completed in as little as two years and meets all state requirements to prepare you for the national exam and licensure.
  • It is eligible for financial aid.
  • It gives you real world business experience to help you become more successful on your own.
  • You will come out of your training with a college degree that can open doors the rest of your life.

Massage Therapy Career Certification

Receive the training you need to give an effective therapeutic massage and be prepared for the national exam and state licensure. This certification—not eligible for federal financial aid—can be completed in two semesters or more. Underemployed or unemployed? This certificate qualifies for ETPL funding through JobConnect and the Community Services Agency (CSA).
