Does EPIC offer financial assistance to senior citizens?

Seniors 65 and older can apply for the Senior Sunshine Fund, established by Helaine Greenberg. This scholarship is available to help those on a tight budget by providing $35 toward any EPIC classes. To apply, call us at 775-829-9010.

Does EPIC take payment installments for your classes?

While EPIC doesn't offer a payment program, we work with JOIN, Community Services Agency, Community Chest Nevada and others that may be able to provide assistance depending on their eligibility criteria. Student loans for noncredit career certificates are available through Wells Fargo. For details, call 775-829-9010.

Does the tuition for a health careers course through EPIC include textbooks?

Yes, all health careers courses include textbooks.

How can EPIC help my company upgrade our computer network?

EPIC can provide consultants to help you plan the network migration and upgrade. Certified trainers are available to conduct customized workshops and classes to prepare your technicians to support the network and end users. Contact us for details.

My company is talking about a corporate college. What role can TMCC play?

At EPIC, we work to help you design your corporate college using local resources to complement company-specific courses. TMCC has two-year degree tracks offered completely in the workplace tailored to include electives that support your business' goals. What should I do if I can't find the EPIC course I'm looking for?

The course may be offered only one time a year. Contact us and we can let you know the status of the topic that interests you.

Where can I find an EPIC instructor's credentials?

Most instructor biographies are available on the registration website.

Why are EPIC courses priced differently from other TMCC courses?

These courses are self-supporting and do not receive state tax dollar funding.

Why does my company need TMCC if we have a corporate trainer?

EPIC is your virtual training department, eliminating the overhead of hiring additional training staff. We can co-design your program or train your trainer to deliver industry-designed courses. Also, TMCC can create a transcript for your employee development records.
