Getting Started

Begin by contacting the TMCC Apprenticeship Office.

  1. Sign an employer agreement for an existing program or work with TMCC to develop a program.
  2. Select an apprentice.
  3. Negotiate starting salary and hire date with the apprentice.

Additional Information

  • Employer provides on-the-job training (OJT) component of the Registered Apprenticeship program with an identified experienced mentor.
  • TMCC's Apprenticeship Office sponsors and onboards all new employers and apprentices. 
  • Employers must give apprentices regular salary increases until the Registered Apprenticeship program is completed to reflect skill and knowledge increases.
  • TMCC's Apprenticeship Office tracks apprentice hours and progress throughout the program.
