Internships are courses which integrate classroom study with relevant hands-on experience by allowing the student to use their education and training in an actual “real world” work environment to gain industry experience. Theory and practice are blended by training in career-related areas of professional interest. Internships narrow career choices and focus on career goals, allowing students to inquire and learn more about a profession and, at the same time, gain insight about a specific industry or career field.

Job Description:

Coeur Rochester in Lovelock, NV is currently seeking students enrolled in a 2-year associate degree program for the Summer Intern Program for 2021. Interns will complete individual and team projects and develop real-world mechanical skills. Support troubleshooting and repairing projects, as well as, gain exposure to surface mining.
Company Name: Coeur Rochester
About Company: The Rochester mine and associated heap leach facilities is an open pit silver and gold mine, located in Pershing County, Nevada, approximately 13 miles northeast of the city of Lovelock. The Company owns 100% of the Rochester mine through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Coeur Rochester, Inc..The mine consists of the main Rochester deposit and the adjacent Nevada Packard deposit, southwest of the Rochester mine.
