Current Internships and Volunteer Opportunities
Internships are courses which integrate classroom study with relevant hands-on experience by allowing the student to use their education and training in an actual “real world” work environment to gain industry experience. Theory and practice are blended by training in career-related areas of professional interest. Internships narrow career choices and focus on career goals, allowing students to inquire and learn more about a profession and, at the same time, gain insight about a specific industry or career field.
Listed below are current internships available at TMCC.
If you are looking for experience in your chosen career, volunteering offers you the chance to try out your career of study and network within your career field without making a long-term commitment. In some fields, you can volunteer directly at an organization that does the kind of work you're interested in. Volunteering can help you further develop and improve your workplace skills, and may also expose you to professional organizations or internships, while benefiting the community.
