Faculty Senate Meeting
Elected Senators represent faculty members of each major instructional unit and an elected Chair represents the Senate. Through monthly meetings and functional committees, the Senate addresses many important topics, such as curriculum, academic and professional standards, monetary issues, general education, bylaws, professional development, library, part-time instructor concerns, and social functions.
The Senate meets on a regular basis, consisting of a minimum of eight times per year. These meetings are held in the spring and fall semesters. All Faculty Senate meetings are open, and all interested persons are encouraged to attend.
