Join the SGA and EISO as we view a documentary on César Chávez and the struggle to create the United Farm Workers Union, and engage with our panel. Our panel includes Elvira Diaz, recognized as a White House Author by President Barack Obama, currently co-chair of the NAACP political action committee and an officer with the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN), Andrew Barbano, an award winning editorial writer for the Sparks Tribune who is the editor of NevadaLabor.com and executive producer of Nevada’s César Chávez Celebration, and Richard “Skip” Daly, a former four term state assemblyman and longtime business manager of Laborers' International Union Local 169.
