Description:
The Washoe County Health District will provide testing services at TMCC. STI and HIV rates in Washoe County are on the increase. From 2017 to 2018, chlamydia was up 9.4%, Gonorrhea had a more dramatic increase at 24% and syphilis was up a frightening 121% in just 1 year. Many of the cases are asymptomatic(meaning there are no symptoms). Our community is at a great risk and yet often don't get tested as it can get costly and might not be covered by insurance. FREE testing will be available on the Dandini Campus!
