Tanja Hayes

Tanja came to Nevada after finishing high school in her native Sweden. She earned her BA degree in Economics from UNR, with minors in Mathematics and French, and her MA degree in Economics from Columbia University. Tanja has worked in the non-profit world, and taught economics and statistics for over a decade before joining the full-time faculty at TMCC. She is a member of the Diversity Committee and the International Faculty Advisory Committee. In addition to teaching, Tanja enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as working out, singing, dancing, and connecting with nature.
