Indigenous Peoples’ Day: Dreamcatcher Activity/Presentation

Truckee Meadows Community College is proud to invite you to TMCC’s first Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebration on Monday, Oct. 10. On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we celebrate the invaluable contributions and resilience of Indigenous peoples, recognize their inherent sovereignty, and commit to honoring the Federal Government’s trust and treaty obligations to Tribal Nations.

You are invited to participate in a hands-on learning activity to learn about the heritage and meaning of dream catchers. The first 40 people to RSVP will receive materials to create their own dreamcatcher. To RSVP please email dtrottier@tmcc.edu
