Indigenous Peoples’ Day: Celebration With Song and Dance

Truckee Meadows Community College is proud to invite you to TMCC’s first Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebration on Monday, Oct. 10. On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we celebrate the invaluable contributions and resilience of Indigenous peoples, recognize their inherent sovereignty, and commit to honoring the Federal Government’s trust and treaty obligations to Tribal Nations.

At 9:45 a.m. the Pyramid Lake Jr./Sr. High School Performing Arts Class, Pudu Nagadu will visit the TMCC campus to celebrate with cultural dancing to highlight Native culture and art.
