Take Back the Night Event

Join us in a night full of remembrance and advocacy as we shatter the silence in support of survivors.

This event will include an opening statement, keynote speakers, an opportunity for silence, and a unified walk that will last about 25 minutes.

This April Take Back The Night event is designed to raise awareness around sexual violence for the National Sexual Assault Awareness month.

This event will be held at Truckee Meadows Community College. Therapy dogs from Paws 4 Love will be available to support participants during this event. Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence advocates will be available from Sexual Assault Support Services and Safe Embrace to offer support and resources to clients. Truckee Meadows Community College Counseling Service will be available for further support.
