Water and Life in the Truckee Meadows

Facilitator: Kim Rios from KTMB

Free events for all students, faculty, staff, and community!

The Truckee River is a precious resource in our community, providing us with 85% of our drinking water. It is a complex and vital stream of water that flows from Lake Tahoe and crosses the boundaries of Reno, Sparks and Washoe County before completing its journey at Pyramid Lake. Join Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful to learn more about our Truckee River Watershed, the many nonpoint source pollutants that threaten it, and how we can keep it beautiful for generations to come.
