The presenters (YeVonne Allen and Miguel Martinez) will share best practices on how to support students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and create engaging dialogue on challenging topics. The session will include specific strategies related to race, religion, sexual orientation, ability, gender expression, gender identity, and the intersectionality of these identities. A virtual toolkit of best practices and activity frameworks will be provided for all participants.
