A certificate of achievement may be completed in a minimum of one to one and a half years, and involves an emphasis area such as culinary arts, graphic communications, or early childhood education. An associate degree may be completed in two to three years. Degree options include: Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS), designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university for a baccalaureate (bachelor’s) degree. Associate of Applied Science (AAS) is a non-transfer degree designed for students who seek employment and/or certification in their chosen academic and/or career emphasis.
