COVID-19: Mandatory All Syllabus Statement Regardless of Delivery Modality

For Fall 2021 semester, all TMCC courses are restored to their previous seating capacities and can permit up to 100% occupancy for all face-to-face activities. Capacities for student support services such as tutoring are also fully restored.

Effective Friday, July 30, 2021, and until further notice, all unvaccinated and vaccinated NSHE students, employees, and members of the public are required to wear a face-covering while inside any building or structure on any NSHE campus or property. Please read the New COVID-19 Face Covering Requirements for NSHE Institutions memo. If public health circumstances change, TMCC will issue further guidance as needed.

COVID-19: Mandatory for All In-Person/Hybrid Classes

  • Unvaccinated students who cannot wear a mask due to medical reasons are to contact the Disability Resource Center. Face shields cannot be worn in place of a mask, but may be worn in addition to a mask.
  • Regardless of your personal vaccination status, if you are sick and/or if you test positive for COVID-19, stay home and contact your instructor by email/Canvas. Do not endanger others by coming to TMCC when you are sick.
  • The modality, standards, and requirements listed in this syllabus may be modified at any time by the course instructor, based upon new guidance from TMCC. Notice of such changes will be made by Canvas course announcement in writing or via email. A modified syllabus with changes will be posted on the Canvas course.
