Create the curriculum and present Success Workshops during the 2022 Success First program to a specific cohort of students within the Summer Bridge Program.
Scope of Work
Summer 2022 from Monday, June 27 to Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022 for a total of 56 hours.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
Summer 2022
Create curriculum and provide instruction of Success Workshops for Summer Bridge students:
- Create content and deliver relevant college success workshops to Summer Bridge students.
- Provide academic skills, support and resources to assigned cohort of students.
- Attend the weekly faculty/staff meetings during the summer program.
- Be accessible on a daily basis (Monday, June 27–Thursday, Aug. 4, 1–3 p.m.) for Success First Summer Bridge participants who attend your workshops.
- Participate in the evaluation of the 2022 Summer Bridge program.
- Candidate must be available to provide in-person support during summer operations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Two years minimum experience in academic instruction in higher education.
- Two years experience working with low income, first generation college students.
- Ability to work Monday–Thursday, 1–3 p.m. June 27–Aug. 4, 2022 during the Success First 2022 Summer Bridge program.
Compensation
Stipend of $2,500.

Jennifer Zarco, College Recruitment Coordinator, Recruitment and Access Center/Success First Program.

Interested faculty will submit a letter of interest describing special qualifications and background information no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, Apr. 1, 2022.
The letter should be addressed to Jennifer Zarco, Program Coordinator. NOTE: Administrative faculty must include a documented plan for separation of the additional assignment work from regular work time.
