Per the NFA Contract, Article 10, TMCC is announcing to all eligible academic and administrative faculty that a need exists for an Math 95 Online Lecture Course Developer.

Description
This position will create 20-25 lecture videos for online Math 95 master course, using appropriate lecture capture technology that is supported by TMCC. The development of this course will provide an option for students who need to retake Math 95 during the second 7-week mini session to keep making progress in their math sequence.
Scope of Work
The online lectures will need to be complete by June 2018.

- Incorporate ADA standards
- Incorporate Quality Matters standards
Qualifications
Two years of full-time equivalent teaching experience in mathematics. Master’s degree from an accredited institution. Quality Matters experience, video experience, and online teaching experience is a plus.
Compensation
2 credit stipend or 2 credits of reassigned time upon completion and approval of course content.
Reports To
Sciences Division dean and WebCollege program director.
Accountability
Upon course development the faculty member will meet with the program director of WebCollege, the chair of Mathematics department and the Sciences Division dean to review the course materials to ensure they meet the appropriate standards, best practices, current technologies, and ADA standards.

Interested part-time and full-time faculty will submit a letter of interest to the Sciences Division dean no later than May 15, 2018.
Selection Process
The program director of WebCollege and/or Sciences Division dean will notify applicants of the hiring decision on or before May 17, 2018.
