Per the NFA Contract, Article 10, TMCC is announcing to all eligible Academic and Administrative faculty that a need exists for an Interventional Radiography Program Developer.

Description

The radiologic technology program is expanding offerings for continued education in medical imaging with an Interventional Radiography (IR) program. This position will develop IR program courses that meet the requirements of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for taking the ARRT certification examination and TMCC’s CRC requirements for course and program development.

Scope of Work

The Interventional Radiography program and courses should be developed and submitted through CRC by Spring Semester 2020. This assignment will begin February 1, 2020 and will end May 31, 2020; approximately 110 work hours/17 weeks.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

The Radiologic Technology Program at Truckee Meadows Community College is seeking a creative and innovative leader for the position of Interventional Radiography Program Developer.  The position will report directly to the Radiologic Technology Program Director.

  1. Develop curriculum for an IR program that meet ARRT and community hospital needs.
  2. Develop courses and lectures and placing them into TMCC’s Canvas shells utilizing the curriculum developed for the IR program incorporating current technologies and appropriate teaching standards.
  3. Develop outcomes and measures for the IR program and each course of the program that meets TMCC assessment requirements.
  4. Submit to the CRC for TMCC and Board of Regents approval.
  5. Submit recommendations to the radiologic technology program director regarding costs associated with supply needs and space availability for implementation of the program.

Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiography and Interventional Radiography.

$6000

Reports To

Program Director of Radiologic Technology.

Interested faculty will submit a letter of interest describing special qualifications and background information no later than 5:00pm on December 13, 2019.

The letter should be addressed to the Program Director of Radiologic Technology. NOTE: Administrative faculty must include a documented plan for separation of the additional assignment work from regular work time.
