Advanced Cyber Physical Manufacturing Curriculum Developer

Per the NFA Contract, Article 10, TMCC is announcing to all eligible Academic and Administrative faculty that a need exists for an Advanced Cyber Physical Manufacturing Curriculum Developer.

Description

Curriculum development is required for the third-year courses for the Fall 2022 semester for TMCC's Advanced Cyber Physical Manufacturing Bachelor Program.

Scope of Work

This is an assignment requiring 129 additional hours outside regular contract days, including times as needed during summer to fulfill duties. This assignment will begin when awarded and will approximately end on Aug. 31, 2022. This additional assignment is not automatically renewed annually.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Correct lab and LMS (Canvas) deficiencies found in ELM 240, MPT 305, MPT 325, and MPT 340.
  • Identify proposed deficiencies (do not correct) in "feeder" courses and tangential courses.
  • The developer of said assignment shall submit a narrative that outlines the amendments to each of the courses listed above, as aligned with each of the learning outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates for this position will meet the following criteria:

  • Current TMCC Instructor.
  • Knowledgeable of the Advanced Manufacturing Programs' 4.0 lab and robotics found currently in TMCC's Advanced Manufacturing lab.
  • Experience with curriculum development and Canvas.

Compensation

Not to exceed $5,500.00

Reports To

This position reports to the Interim Dean of Technical Sciences.

Accountability

At the end of said assignment, the developer shall submit a narrative that outlines the amendments to each of the courses listed above, as aligned with each of the learning outcomes.

Application Process

Interested faculty will submit a letter of interest describing special qualifications and background information no later than 5 p.m. on Aug. 12, 2022.

The letter should be addressed to Kreg L. Mebust, Interim Dean of Technical Sciences. Administrative faculty must include a documented plan for the separation of the additional assignment work from regular work time.

The Interim Dean of Technical Sciences will notify applicants of the hiring decision on or before Aug. 13, 2022.
