TMCC Skills Certificates can be completed in one or two semesters and are intended to provide training for entry-level positions and career advancement. They are shorter and narrower in focus than other certificates and degrees, do not have a General Education component, and many are designed as stackable credentials leading to existing associate degrees. Skills Certificates often prepare a student to take a state, national, and/or industry-recognized exam. TMCC does not guarantee that a student will pass the intended certification or licensing exam.
