Mission
The History and Political Science Club is here to benefit all students interested in learning about Political Science or History. We will bring together like-minded individuals into open-minded discussions and debates.
Activities
Through the Decades Series: Every month, we will host guest speakers discussing various political and cultural topics related to each decade.
Counterfactual Discussions: We will host historians/professors to lead discussions on alternative historical events contrary to what happened (what-if scenarios).
Historian and Politicians Speaker Series: On two recent occasions we have had the pleasure to host Nevada State Assemblywoman Selena La Rue Hatch and Sparks City Councilman Donald Abbott. In the future we plan to host more Local, State and Congressional elected Politicians.
