The presentation will cover the administration of academic and placement exams in the Testing Center and how to prepare your students for proctored exams. There will be detailed instructions on how to complete a Proctoring Request form. The capabilities and limitations of the Testing Center in administering academic exams will be covered as will Testing Center standards and rules. You will leave with the necessary information on Proctoring requests, what to expect when submitting paper exams and policies related to notes, calculators and other materials.

This hour-long class will cover emergency preparedness and response during a violent incident or active shooter. Active shooter/workplace violence incidents are often unpredictable and evolve quickly. The goal of this workshop is to share awareness of actions that may be taken before, during, and after an active shooter/workplace violence incident. This scenario-based workshop features facilitated discussions to inform participants of the best practices associated with preparing for and responding to an active shooter or workplace violence incident.
