Canvas Template Discourse: A Good Framework For New Online Instructors?

This virtual presentation will look at a basic TMCC Canvas template which may offer instructors a nice starting point if new to designing an online classroom. We will discuss how the Quality Matters (QM) Rubric was used to design this simple template, and how it may be useful to both new instructors and our online learners. F.R.E.E. Planning Meeting to Select an All-Campus Book

All are welcome to join a 1-hour F.R.E.E. planning meeting to decide on an all-campus book for students and staff to read and discuss together during the 2021–2022 academic year. Faculty for Radical Enlightenment and Empowerment (F.R.E.E.) is TMCC's longest running interdisciplinary learning community. F.R.E.E. is dedicated to integrative student-centered learning experiences that weave established coursework into big picture themes about belonging, diversity, and imagination. In Spring 2022, F.R.E.E. will facilitate a sensory campus event with social-emotional activities that focus on the book we select. Please come to this planning meeting with a few book titles in mind.
