Olga is the Mental Health Specialist and an administrative faculty member at TMCC. As a first-generation Latina, Olga is inspired to work tirelessly for the success of all students. She is fluent in Spanish and excited to work with native Spanish-speaking students. Olga’s efforts focus on supporting students from diverse backgrounds to pursue their chosen careers and life goals at the community college level. She has 14 years of experience working holistically with students, recognizing their intersectionalities while pursuing their college goals. Olga has her Ph.D. in Special Education, a Master of Arts in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.
