Health Science Information Nights

If you’re envisioning yourself as a professional in the medical, dental or allied health fields, TMCC is offering information nights to get you started on your degree path... and your career. These upcoming sessions cover admission requirements, program basics and everything you’ll need to know about your program and profession of choice.

At each information session, you’ll hear directly from each program on suggested course sequences, course load, and other program expectations. You’ll also be able to pose your questions (and concerns) directly to faculty and staff—an opportunity not every degree major receives.

So, set reminders for yourself to attend one (or all) of these information nights, and prepare yourself for a rewarding future in one of these helping professions.

Pre-Allied Health Advising Information Workshops

If you’re interested in the health sciences, but you haven’t decided on just one, the Pre-Allied Health Advising Workshop will cover everything you need to know about TMCC’s allied health programs. These programs include: Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Certified Nursing Assistant, Dental Hygiene, Dental Assisting, and College of Southern Nevada’s Surgical Technologist and Radiation Therapy programs (both offered at TMCC).

All Pre-Allied Health Advising Information Workshops will be held in RMDT 111, on the following days and times:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 11, 9–11 a.m.
  • Tuesday, March 10, 2–4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 14, 9–11 a.m.
  • Tuesday, May 12, 9–11 a.m.

If you are not available during those dates or times, you can schedule a distance advising session with a TMCC Academic Advisor. Any additional questions about TMCC’s Allied Health programs can be answered by an academic advisor through a new online scheduling system.
