TMCC’s Spring Commencement ceremony marked the end of another successful academic year.
In 2017–18, the College awarded 1,477 degrees and certificates to 1,174 students, including the College’s first two Bachelor's of Applied Science (BAS) degrees. These graduates are talented, dedicated and creative—and prepared to continue their educational career, or enter the workforce where they will bring new ideas and innovation to our community.
These recent graduates now join thousands of proud alumni who have the opportunity to stay connected with TMCC, now and in the future.
Following are a few ways for our alumni to stay connected with TMCC.
Visit the Career Center
TMCC's Career Center is here to support current students and alumni in the job search process. Currently there are almost 200 job postings on the online CareerLink Job Board. Additionally, the Career Center staff can help with resumes, social media accounts—including LinkedIn—and interview skills.
Attend Career Fairs and Networking Events
Alumni can bring their experience and connections back to campus! By participating in professional and career development activities, alumni help today’s students launch into their own careers. Events such as the Career Center’s Spring and Fall Job Fairs and networking breakfasts offer companies a chance to meet with prospective employees.
Join the Alumni Association
The TMCC Alumni Association helps keep alumni connected with their alma mater and fellow alumni. Membership is free, and includes TMCC’s monthly newsletter, Impact News. Alumni who update their contact information will continue to receive highlights from the College, and invitations to special events. Have good news to share? Please send us a news tip!
Interact on Social Media
No matter where the future leads, TMCC and your fellow alumni are close—on Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms. Alumni can be ambassadors of TMCC by sharing memories from campus and career and life milestones.
Alumni Pride
In fulfilling its commitment to strengthen the bridge between alumni and friends of the College, the Alumni Association sponsors events and provides services that afford opportunities to remain connected and display pride in TMCC.
