The information on this page is intended for administrators of community organizations, high schools, and groups who are involved in encouraging students to sign up for college financial aid. We strive to provide the financial aid guidance that our prospective and continuing students will use throughout their college careers. If you would like to collaborate with the TMCC Financial Aid department in hosting a workshop or presentation, this information is for you.
Types of Workshops
Our financial aid advisors are available to present information on financial aid topics including, the steps to apply for financial aid, types of financial aid, scholarships, and more. These presentations can range from 20 minutes to 1 hour in length.
Expert guidance through the FAFSA is also available. We provide knowledgeable staff to assist students with navigating their financial aid application from beginning to end. Hands-on FAFSA assistance workshops must be held in an area with computer access or where students have Wi-Fi access using their personal laptops. These helpful workshops can be held in a 1.5–2.5 hour session.
We provide a wide availability for all presentations and workshops: Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. or Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Student and Individual Appointment Information
Virtual appointments can also be scheduled for students to attend alone or with their parent(s). Parent attendance is encouraged because the FAFSA requires parent information, until a student is 24 years old, in most cases. Students can schedule an individual, virtual or in-person appointment. Appointments are categorized by subject so students can be connected to staff that specializes in that area Cancellations and rescheduling arrangements can be made but require at least an 8-hour notice. In-person assistance is available at the main Financial Aid Office, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
