Pre-Purchase Accessibility Checker

The purpose of this form is to give instructors and departments a way to pre-screen new purchases for accessibility when selecting a software or hardware intended for a classroom curriculum. This does not mean that the inaccessibility of a product disqualifies its purchase or use. It means a strategy will be worked out later, with the help of the Disability Resource Center, so the student with a disability can have equal access as prescribed by state and federal law.

To complete this form, you may need to contact the publisher, manufacturer or software company; you may also need to contact the Information Technology Department prior to purchase.
