Internships

Internships are courses which integrate classroom study with relevant hands-on experience by allowing the student to use their education and training in an actual “real world” work environment to gain industry experience. Theory and practice are blended by training in career-related areas of professional interest. Internships narrow career choices and focus on career goals, allowing students to inquire and learn more about a profession and, at the same time, gain insight about a specific industry or career field.

Job Description:

The Website Intern plays an important role at the Education Alliance (EA) by providing communications support to the staff and supporting EA initiatives by communicating our mission/successes through website updates. WordPress required.

About Company: As a non-profit charity, Education Alliance bridges the private sector and community with P-16 education (Pre-Kindergarten through college graduation) in Washoe County. We accomplish this by establishing effective partnerships between business and community organizations and specific schools or programs.
TMCC Majors: Computer Information Technology, Graphic Arts & Media technology
When: Summer 2021
Hourly Pay: $7.25
