Olga's experiences as a first-generation woman of color have inspired her to give back to the community and work tirelessly for the success of all students. She loves to create new programming and learning opportunities for students with disabilities to pursue their chosen career and life goals. Olga has master's degrees in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, as well as Rehabilitation Counseling from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. Olga's experiences balancing the challenges of being a working professional, pursuing her PhD in Special Education, and raising her daughter as a single parent have granted her insight into the balance required to achieve goals in several domains at once. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling.
Elizabeth was raised in Reno and began her higher education at TMCC. After completing her associate of arts at TMCC, she transferred to the University of Nevada, Reno where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Elizabeth has prior experience in coaching individuals and is elated at the opportunity to provide help and support so that all students can reach their academic and employment goals. She understands that life can get in the way and sometimes all one needs is a little extra encouragement.
Scott Weissman's passion is helping students succeed at TMCC and beyond with the use of assistive, or specialized, technology. As a certified Assistive Technology Professional, he provides services for students in all areas of academic endeavor. He enjoys playing basketball, soccer, outdoor activities and above all having a good laugh.
