Academic Honesty in the American Education System

In this interactive workshop, you will gain an understanding about the behaviors and expectations in the American classroom such as attendance and participation, avoiding plagiarism and cheating, seeking assistance, and support services available. Also, we will discuss the meaning of academic honesty in the American higher education system in order to avoid unintentional acts of plagiarism or cheating, review resources and introduce students to the free services available in the TLC in order to help students avoid plagiarism and achieve success in the first semester and beyond.  We will continue the discussion of the cultural adjustment process, too.

New F-1 international students are required to attend; attendance is optional for continuing F-1 students.
