Students Working on Car

Modern vehicles grow more sophisticated every year, and new transportation technologies continue to need skilled technicians. At TMCC, you will learn to diagnose and repair vehicles with standards established by nationally recognized industry groups, such as the ASE®.

As a certified automotive technician, you will have the skills needed to join an established repair shop or dealership, and the job opportunities are plentiful in our region. Besides basic mechanics, you will learn to understand electronics, computers and troubleshooting.

Programs offered through Transportation Technologies include Automotive and Diesel. Completed programs offer both one-year certificates of achievement in given concentration and two-year associate of applied science degrees.
