Overview

As demand for goods increases, so does the need for quicker, more efficient ways of producing them. Technicians that work in robotics and advanced manufacturing are capable of troubleshooting and controlling complex interrelated mechanical and electronic control systems and equipment.

The Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Manufacturing Technologies, with Production Systems, Automation and Robotics, and Advanced Manufacturing emphasis trains technicians to integrate, maintain and operate advanced robotics, computerized inventory and process control, quality assurance and system management in modern manufacturing facilities.

What Will I Study?

Regardless of emphasis, you will start off learning basic industry safety standards, as well as electrical theory. Most of your time will be spent in-person with hands-on training with state-of-the-art equipment, learning to integrate, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems within advanced production systems.
