Construction and Design TechnologiesYou can be a part of Nevada’s changing landscape!

In the Construction and Design Technologies Program offered at Truckee Meadows Community College, you will learn first-hand how to advance in careers like certified architect, construction manager, and designer. The up-to-date curriculum includes classes like Design Foundation, Construction Drawings and Detailing, and Fundamentals of Architectural Design.

Are you more of a planner and designer working with ideas, or a builder and creator working with your hands?

Both options are available in the Construction and Design Technologies Program.

You can choose to take courses in either the Architecture and Design Technology Program, or the Construction Management Program! Both are intertwined to give you the best training to create and build in the New Nevada.

Architecture and Design Technology

An architect is a licensed professional who organizes space. Architects design houses, office buildings, skyscrapers, landscapes, and even entire cities.

Construction Management

For experienced building trade employees, the construction management program provides an outstanding career upgrade path. Construction managers plan, direct and coordinate a wide variety of projects including residential and commercial structures, roads and bridges, and industrial plants.
