WebCollege Class Schedules

WebCollege is part of TMCC's effort to promote new and innovative methods for college instruction. Classes are offered in flexible and convenient ways. As a student at TMCC you will use a learning management system such as Angel at some point in your academic career. Knowing your username and password to access the WebCollege is the first step in logging into the system. For more information, please read getting started with WebCollege.

Information About Class Formats

The WebCollege program includes Web-based, hybrid and assist classes.

Web-based

Web-based classes are offered entirely online, though sometimes you will be asked to take exams on the Dandini Campus or one of the other educational sites. Please refer to the class syllabus for information concerning on campus proctored exams for the individual courses.

Note: If you are an out-of-state student taking an online class and the class requires a proctored exam, you will be responsible for talking with the faculty member and arranging a proctored agreement with another educational institution or public library.

Hybrid

Class consists of both in-class meetings and Web-based lessons. Class meetings are mandatory and are held half of the time of a traditional class. With a hybrid class students meet on campus half the time, and complete the other portion online.

Assist

A majority of faculty will use a learning management system such as Angel to supplement the traditional face-to-face classroom by posting syllabi, handouts and other important information online.
