All photographs will adhere to the TMCC quality standard, i.e., good composition, appropriate lighting, flattering images of students, faculty and staff, etc. The format should be a high quality JPEG, 1 to 5 MB in size. Web Services will optimize the file for display online.

Administrative Web Pages

The goal of placing photographs on administrative Web pages is to enhance the college's image; therefore informal snapshots on administrative Web pages of events, faculty and staff will be closely scrutinized prior to Web use. The final determination for the use of photographs on administrative Web pages will be made by either Web Serivces or PIO.

Faculty Web Pages

Faculty are encouraged to follow these policies on their instructional pages, but are not required to do so.

All Web Pages

All college members are required by the FERPA regulations for student privacy to obtain the student's permission for disclosure prior to online or printed publication of his/her photograph or likeness.
