Instructional Web Account Application: Part-time Instructors
TMCC does not currently host Web pages of part-time faculty in-house on its own servers. However, we are pleased to offer links from the System Computing Services (SCS) Web server.
- Activate Your Account
Follow the instructions provided by SCS under the Faculty and Staff section to set up a free Web account. Note: If SCS is unable to find you in the system, please contact your dean immediately. - Access Your Account
Once you have your SCS username and password, your Web account has been successfully set up. Now decide how you want to access this account to publish your Web pages. There are many choices:- FTP - See FTP Instructions
- Adobe Dreamweaver - See Templates Instructions
- SiteCenter - See SiteCenter Instructions. Note: To set up a SiteCenter account, please e-mail Web Services your SCS username and password (from step 1) and mention that you would like a SiteCenter account set up. Please allow 24 hours for the account to be created.
- Promote Your Web Site - Get Listed
Once you have established an instructional Web page on the Internet, please don't forget to request to be linked. In the spirit of academic freedom and to promote rapid deployment of college Web-based information, TMCC links all Web pages of part-time faculty to the TMCC Faculty Web Page Directory.
