To offer you the convenience of a one-stop location for all your personal enrichment, professional development and regulatory compliance instruction needs. By combining community resources, we are able to reduce expenses and eliminate redundancy.

iconCan WDCE help me improve workplace communication?

WDCE addresses communication in several ways. We offer English as a second language, Spanish survival skills for supervisors, Global English, active listening, conflict resolution, business writing and much more.

iconDoes the tuition for a health careers course through WDCE include textbooks?

Yes, all health careers courses include textbooks.

iconDoes WDCE offer financial assistance to senior citizens?

Seniors 62 and older can apply for the Senior Sunshine Fund, established by Helaine Greenberg.

You may apply for this fund's financial assistance, which now gives seniors an opportunity to participate in personal interest classes offered by the TMCC Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division, by calling 775-829-9010 or emailing us.

Chosen applicants will receive $20 toward payments of $50 and above.

iconDoes WDCE take payment installments for your classes?

Unfortunately, WDCE is unable to process installment payments. Course tuition must be paid in full and in advance of the class.

iconHow can WDCE help my company is upgrading our computer network?

WDCE can provide consultants to help you plan the network migration and upgrade. Certified trainers are available to conduct customized workshops and classes to prepare your technicians to support the network and end users. Contact us for details.

WDCE staff are trained to assess your business' needs for a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, gaming, trade services and government agencies. Contact WDCE customized training for details.

iconMy company is talking about a corporate college. What role can TMCC play?

At WDCE, we work to help you design your corporate college using local resources to complement company-specific courses. TMCC has two-year degree tracks offered completely in the workplace tailored to include electives that support your business' goals. We can assist you with tracking both college and company courses to build professional development records. Contact us for details.

The course may be offered only one time a year. Contact us and we can let you know the status of the topic that interests you.

iconWhere can I find a WDCE instructor's credentials?

Most instructor biographies are available on the registration website.

iconWhy are WDCE courses priced differently from other TMCC courses?

These courses are self-supporting and do not receive state tax dollar funding.

iconWhy do I need TMCC if I have a corporate trainer?

WDCE is your virtual training department, eliminating the overhead of hiring additional training staff. We can co-design your program or train your trainer to deliver industry-designed courses. Also, TMCC can issue educational credit and create a transcript for your employee development records. Contact WDCE customized training for details.
