Class description

Please do not enter the catalog description for a class. This information is not printed in class schedules because it is available in the catalog and linked to the online class schedule.

Dates and times

When listing class dates, the correct format is 4/1-4/12. Please do not insert zeros or spaces in the day or month. The year is listed only when the class is scheduled for two different years, i.e., 12/20/04-4/1/05.

For dates and times, please abbreviate.

Example: Please attend an orientation meeting on Sat., Jan. 20, at 10 a.m.

Hyphenation in class notes

Some standard words have an option to be hyphenated. The college does not hyphenate the following words: corequisite, prerequisite, nonrefundable, nontraditional and nonstandard. For a complete list of hyphenated words, please consult the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary.

Prerequisite entry

Please do not enter the prerequisite. The admissions and records office will "roll over" the prerequisite(s) for you.
