Creating a Math Mind

Learn strategies and techniques to help you conquer your math class and create a positive math mindset guiding you toward math success.

How to Become a Successful College Student

This workshop will give you the tools on how to be successful in college. In the workshop you will learn about study skills, time management and overcoming test and math anxiety.

Introductory Graphing Calculator

This is a hands-on workshop to introduce new students to the TI-83 or TI-84 version of the graphing calculator. This workshop does not cover any of the graphing features, only the calculating features. Please bring your calculator, or one can be provided to you for the workshop.

Intermediate Graphing Calculator

This hands-on workshop will introduce students to the graphing features of the TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator. An understanding of a linear function or beyond is required to attend. Please bring your calculator or one can be provided to you for the workshop.

Overcoming Math and Test Anxiety

These workshops cover the possible reason(s) students may suffer from test anxiety, and offer suggestions to help student overcome it. A must for any student who has blanked on an exam!

Reading Strategies

How can you get the most out of the reading you do in college? In this workshop you'll learn more about college-level reading and what is expected of you as a reader in college. You'll also learn strategies for reading more effectively.

Reduce Your Stress

Learn strategies and techniques to help you reduce your stress and live life the way you'd like to.
