Welcome to the testing center at Truckee Meadows Community College. The testing center provides a stress-free testing environment for members of the college community to take a wide variety of exams including: academic placement exams, GED, CLEP/college credit exams, TMCC department program exams such as CNA, HESI and Radiology Technicians assessment, as well as proctor exams for non-TMCC classes.

Academic placement testing is a required enrollment step for new, degree-seeking students. All students are encouraged to take this test to ensure that with the help of an adviser they register for the correct classes.

Testing Services staff includes two full-time assessment technicians and several part-time testing assistants. All of the staff members will be happy to assist you with your testing needs. TMCC Testing Services subscribes to the National College Testing Association professional standards and guidelines. Testing Services also conforms to the privacy restrictions set forth in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

TMCC's testing services is open year-round except for the winter break.
